AUSTIN, TEXAS [SEPTEMBER 20, 2023] – The Devils River Conservancy (DRC) is thrilled to announce the latest addition to its team, Dani Miller, who will take on the role of Communications and Engagement Manager. Dani brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for conservation and community engagement, making her a valuable asset to the organization's mission.
With over five years of experience in communications, education, and outreach, Dani has a proven track record of connecting with diverse stakeholders and audiences, including rural landowners within Val Verde County. Her background in natural resource management aligns perfectly with the DRC's commitment to preserving and protecting the Devils River, its springs, and the surrounding lands.

Dani's expertise in event coordination and her ability to craft compelling science and conservation narratives will play a crucial role as the DRC continues to grow and engage its community. She has successfully managed both virtual and in-person events, including her work with Birding with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, where she developed and managed educational seminar series and organized agriculture tourism programs.
In addition to her event coordination skills, Dani brings a strong background in membership management and communications. She possesses a keen eye for design and excels in creating engaging digital and print content. Her capacity to connect with members and stakeholders will enhance the DRC's outreach efforts significantly.
